Major organisational change programmes utilising Appreciative Inquiry

Quality & Equality Organisation
Quality & Equality have had great success in using Pinpoint Facilitation™ to facilitate major culture change programmes within two large organisations.

The central process to both these programmes has been Appreciative Inquiry, a highly collaborative, participative, system-wide approach which seeks to identify and enhance the life-giving forces that are present when an organisation is performing optimally in human terms.

Within one organisation, we have used Pinpoint Facilitation™ to help the participants to analyse collected data on what has worked well in the organisation and move on to imagine what the organisation could be. This collective vision of the future will enable the organisation as a whole to mobilise the energy to move forward to meet and embrace this future.

The participation and inclusivity inherent to the Pinpoint Facilitation™ approach has made it the ideal tool to use with an Appreciative Inquiry-led change process, where ownership of what is taking place is fundamental for success. While this could have proved problematic within such large organisations, we have been able to use Pinpoint™ to facilitate workshop groups of at least 60 people!

This tool has consistently helped to maintain the focus of the workshop as well as introducing a dimension of creativity and fun into the day.

Both organisations have now bought their own Pinpoint Facilitation™ material and continue to run the workshops independently of our consultants.
